Karen Manardo

Karen Manardo is a PR, communications, and marketing leader with more than 20 years of experience serving a variety of industries including manufacturing, non-profits, health care, and financial. She has overseen corporate marketing and communications teams of up to 23 people and budgets up to $8 million, and she has recently transitioned into the agency/consultancy realm.Manardo has received industry recognition via IABC Renaissance Awards for technical writing, feature writing, annual report writing, branding and more. Her expertise also includes strategy development, media relations, advertising, website management, employee communications, and community relations.

Academically, Manardo has an MBA in Marketing & Organizational Behavior and a BA in Mass Communications & Political Science from Wayne State University in Detroit where she graduated with top honors. She is a member of the Phi Beta Kappa national honor society and Mensa International, Ltd. She is active in her community and currently serves on the board of the Grosse Pointe South Choir Boosters as Publicity Chair.
