A 30+-year marketing veteran, Peggy Fenwick brings extensive technology and marketing experience to the development and implementation of integrated marketing communications and public relations strategies for a variety of emerging and established companies in the business-to-business market. Her areas of expertise include strategic communications planning, marketing communications, content marketing, analyst relations, and program development planning for technology giants as well as start-ups.
Prior to launching her own business marketing consultancy, Peggy had experience working in marketing management for several area companies including Future Three Software, SupplySolution, Inc., and McKenna Associates. She also worked as a senior account manager at Airfoil Public Relations. Peggy served as account manager for client Plex Systems (www.plex.com) from 2006 – 2013.
Peggy launched Markit Strategies in May of 2005. Since that time, she has helped numerous automotive, manufacturing, and technology clients with marketing and public relations activities. Since 2007, Markit Strategies and PR has been awarded the prestigious IABC Renaissance Award twelve times for its work supporting Plex Systems marketing program. In 2011, the Plex Systems Integrated Marketing Communications Program, managed by Markit Strategies, received the B2 Award of Excellence from the Business Marketing Association. In June, 2014, Peggy was selected as a Michigan Leader & Innovator from Lawrence Tech University and WWJ Newsradio 950.
Peggy earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration, majoring in marketing from Eastern Michigan University, in Ypsilanti, Mich. In 2013, Peggy received a Masters of Science in Integrated Marketing Communications at EMU. Graduating with honors, Peggy was invited to join Beta Gamma Sigma, the International Honorary Society for Business Administration students, and Phi Kappa Phi, a collegiate honor society. Peggy is a trusted advisor for Vistage of Michigan, a CEO peer-to-peer advisory group.
In 2015, Peggy’s lifelong best friend was diagnosed with ALS – Lou Gehrig’s disease. Since then, Peggy has been helping her friend by creating awareness for ALS, serving the community as an advocate, and raising funds for patient care and someday, a cure.
